My therapeutic work covers many psychological issues that reflect each individual’s lives.
I specialise in Grief, Loss, Bereavement, Endings/Beginnings, Depression, Anxiety, Change, holistic health and wellbeing.
I have experience from my work with the national mental health charity MIND, the charity Brook Advisory Service, also Citizens Advice Bureaux and for corporate companies with their Employment Assisted Programme (EAP). I am now at Canonbury Natural Health Clinic and also have my private practice in Islington.
This experience with a diverse group of clients with a range of psychological challenges has enhanced my work and practice.
As a member of Mbacp I adhere to professional standards, ethics and conduct, including regular professional supervision to support my work and continuous professional development (Cpd).
My Therapeutic Approach:
My therapeutic approach is Eclectic.
Person-centred, Psychodynamic, long-term, open ended at client's pace, making connections of negative, unresolved, learned past thought patterns and habits.
Solution Focussed Therapy, also known as Brief therapy, is time limited and focusses on a specific issue to find a solution.
Eclectic combines all the above skills.
